Truth be told, no one ever thought that two young guys would be able to service in camera rental and be able to hold off companies with more than 35 years in the market.This is the story of Raphael Vieira and Edu Ruiz. A director and a cinematographer whom were able to make the market flip because of the RED ONE camera. Here is the logo that made it happen. Very excited to keep it happening now that the 3D world is evident. We at Inspi(RED) Cameras have shot already our first 3D on RED, with a personalized baseplate created by our technicians. The newly shot film “Tempos de Paz” from director Daniel Filho will premier this month, August 14th. Considered a low budget film, for Daniel Filho’s standard, after the amazing audience that watched “Se Eu Fosse VocÊ 2″. This film, “Tempos de Paz” was a breakthrough in workflow and new standards in such an analog country like Brazil. It allowed Daniel Filho to find himself in a medium that is still questioned after almost 2 years of great cinematographic discoveries. The new film being shot under the supervision of my company, Inspired Cameras, is considered an Epic, since it’s a film about one of the greatest religious man, in brazilian history. Not only a religious man, but a very well rounded and inteligent psycho-writer. In time, RED ONE in Brazil has made a huge impact on the industry. There are over 50 cameras, and the market is still blooming with new produtions houses shifting costs and using RED ONE to hit the best potential in production and post.

This new film, in my opiniion will divide people, in a way were the top question that never ceases to exist… shoot RED or FILM ? I know for a fact that RED is not the perfect camera. But the direction they are heading is towards the best possible light. And I like that.

 After almost 8 months since I last posted on this website. I return to my duty in a completely new stage of life. Not only rising with a new production house, but a new website that will take over from here on… www.INSPIREDCAMERS.com.br.

Let’s not forget that this year we’ll have the first film to be fully distributed in Brazil, SHOT ON RED ONE # 663 (Inspired Cameras) and # 1038 (Cinemar). The name of the film in portuguese is “Tempos de Paz” directed by: Daniel Filho, with star actors Tony Ramos and Dan Stulbach.

Since the RED camera has arrived in Brasil. Life has changed. Convincing has been hard, but it will be done. Like brazilian politics, it will take some “seeing to believing”.

Here is the box set opened.

The short film Untouched has become a feature length film in script with 120 pages of pure emotion. It’s been 2 years now that the film was shot and completed. Three festivals later and one award (Ashville Film Festival in South Carolina), Untouched begins to rise as the production package is nearly finished.
